The14th Annual Architectural Tour, Saturday May 24th, 10AM to 4PM

One of the most popular annual events in Santa Cruz each spring is the self-guided Open Architecture Tour, a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Santa Cruz County. Presented by the Architects Association of Santa Cruz County (AASCC) www.aascc.org , this year's tour showcases nine architectural works representing a wide range of styles and budgets.

The event is co-sponsored by The George Ow Family, Milgard Windows, Coast Commercial Bank, Alladin Nursery, Myles F. Corcoran Construction Consulting, Inc, Weather Shield and KUSP-Radio.

Ticket books go on sale May 1st and serve as the tour guide with map and admission ticket for two. Ticket books are available at Alladin Nursery in Watsonville, Bookshop Santa Cruz and Pro-Build (Lumbermens) on River Street in Santa Cruz, Palace Arts and Horizon Home Loans in Capitola and Bookworks in Aptos. Ticket books will be available for purchase until 2:00 p.m. on the day of event.

Ticket Books - $28.00 (admits two people to each tour site). Ticket books are available at Alladin Nursery in Watsonville, Bookshop Santa Cruz and Lumbermens on River Street in Santa Cruz, Palace Arts and Horizon Home Loans in Capitola. Tickets go on sale May 1st.

Shadowbrook

The Shadowbrook Restaurant through their "Community Tuesday " program supports and contributes to local nonprofits. On Tuesday, March 4th the restaurant donated one-third of participating dinners' guest checks to Habitat for Humanity Santa Cruz County. Many thanks to everyone who dined in support of our mission to provide affordable housing for local families.

Saturday May 10th - The Human Race

The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County sponsors the Human Race. A walker/runner participant can specify an organization that they would like to support. Donors make pledges to the participants for the 10K race, which extends from Natural Bridges State Park to a little way beyond the Lighthouse. Walker/Runners that support Habitat for Humanity include individuals and members of various organizations, including local churches. We are grateful for the generous walkers, donors and volunteers that make this event so successful! Please join us in May for this fun event.
